Terms & Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and Gamatics India Pvt Ltd (“Gamatics”, “we”, “us”) for the use of SlayTab at slaytab.com, its browser extension and its API. By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

1. The service

SlayTab is a personal workspace: a start page holding your documents, links, calendar, notes and tasks, with an optional AI assistant. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, or make a change that materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you by email first.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by anyone you share credentials or an API token with.
• One account is for one person. Sharing one login across a team is not permitted.
• You must be 18 or older.
• Tell us promptly at support@slaytab.com if you think someone else has access.

3. Your content

Everything you put into SlayTab stays yours. We claim no ownership of your files, links, notes, tasks or calendar data. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, show it back to you, and pass the necessary parts to the processors listed in the privacy policy when you use a feature that depends on them.

You are responsible for having the right to store and process what you upload. Do not put anything into SlayTab that you are not allowed to hold.

4. Acceptable use

The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. Breaking it is grounds for suspension or termination.

5. Plans, trials and payment

• New accounts get a 30-day free trial with every feature enabled, including the assistant. No card is required to start.
• After the trial the account moves to the Free plan, which keeps working indefinitely: documents, links, notes, todos and a connected calendar, up to the limits shown on the pricing page. The AI assistant, and the reminders it can set, are part of the paid plans.
• The current price and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing section and in your account. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
• Nothing renews automatically. A payment buys a single period — one month or one year, whichever you chose at checkout. We keep no card on file and cannot charge you again without you choosing to pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.
• We email you before a paid period ends — three days beforehand, and again on the day — so the account never stops working without notice. If you do not pay again, it moves to the Free plan at the end of the period.
• Paying while a period is still running extends it from the date it would have ended, so you never lose time you have already paid for.

6. Ending a plan and refunds

• There is nothing to cancel, because nothing recurring exists. To stop paying, simply do not pay again: the plan runs to the end of the period you bought and then stops.
• Nothing you have saved is ever deleted by a plan ending. Everything keeps working on the Free plan up to its limits. If you are over a limit, nothing is removed — the account simply cannot add more until it is back under, and anything the assistant created stays readable. We do not delete content because a plan lapsed.
• We do not give pro-rata refunds for a partly used period. If you were charged in error, or something on our side stopped the service working for a meaningful period, write to support@slaytab.com within 7 days and we will refund that charge.

7. The AI assistant

The assistant is powered by a third-party model provider. Two things follow, and you should treat both as certain rather than unlikely:

• It can be wrong. Answers, summaries and drafts may contain mistakes. Check anything that matters before relying on it.
• Your input leaves our servers. Your message and the parts of your workspace it searches are sent to the model provider. Do not use it on anything you would not send to a third party.

Actions the assistant takes on your instruction — creating notes, tasks, calendar events, email drafts — are your actions. Usage allowances are described in your account and may change with notice.

8. Availability

We aim to keep SlayTab running but do not promise uninterrupted service. There is no uptime guarantee on the plans described here. We may take the service down for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using SlayTab at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts the service or other users at risk, or where we are required to by law. Except in serious cases we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

On closure we remove your content as described in the Data Policy. Ask us before closing if you want an export.

10. Our liability

SlayTab is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost or corrupted data.

Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use SlayTab after that means you accept them; if you do not, stop and ask us to close the account.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, India have exclusive jurisdiction, save that either party may seek injunctive relief wherever necessary.
