Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms & Conditions. It applies to the SlayTab web app, the browser extension and the API. The short version: use SlayTab for your own work, do not harm anyone with it, and do not put us in legal difficulty.

1. Content you must not store or process

• Anything unlawful where you are, or where we operate.
• Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Child sexual abuse material, or content sexualising minors — reported to the authorities without warning and without exception.
• Content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against people.
• Malware, exploit code, phishing kits or credential-stealing pages.
• Other people's personal data where you have no lawful basis to hold it — including scraped contact lists.
• Protected health information as defined by HIPAA. See HIPAA / BAA: SlayTab is not set up for it.
• Payment card numbers, full bank credentials, or government identity documents belonging to other people.

2. Things you must not do to the service

• Probe, scan or test the security of SlayTab without written permission — but see reporting a vulnerability below, we do want to hear from you.
• Circumvent authentication, quotas, billing or usage limits.
• Automate the interface to place load beyond ordinary human use, or resell access.
• Reverse-engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it.
• Use the API or extension token to build a competing product.
• Upload files intended to execute on our servers.

3. The AI assistant

Do not use the assistant to:

• Generate content that would breach section 1.
• Produce spam, bulk marketing, or messages impersonating a real person or organisation.
• Generate legal, medical or financial advice presented to others as professional advice.
• Attempt to extract the underlying model's instructions, or to make it act outside SlayTab.
• Process material you are contractually barred from sending to a third-party provider.

4. The browser extension

The extension saves tabs you choose to save. Do not modify it, repackage it, or use it to collect browsing data about anyone other than yourself.

5. Fair use

Plans are sized for one person's working day. Storage, assistant messages and API calls are subject to the allowances shown in your account. If usage is far beyond normal individual use we will contact you before doing anything — we would rather move you to a suitable plan than switch anything off.

6. Reporting problems

• Security vulnerabilities: legal@slaytab.com. Report privately and give us reasonable time to fix it, and we will not pursue you for good-faith research.
• Abuse or infringing content: same address, with enough detail to find it.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may contact you, limit a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it. For anything involving imminent harm or illegal material we act immediately and without notice, and report to the authorities where required. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we prefer to ask you to fix it first.
